enercyImpulse is a qualification programme for staff of local authorities on energy efficiency, energy saving and the use of renewable energies in municipalities. 4  topics  are addressed: Urban Planning, New Buildings/Refurbishment, Mobility and Trade/Industry. Basic information, tools and Best Practice examples of selected municipalities are provided.

The programme will be carried out in the partner regions as e-learning in Saxony (D) and as seminars in Smaland (S) and Emilia Romagna (I). enercyImpulse strives to motivate local authority staff to increase energy efficiency and the share of renewable energies in their municipalities. enercy is a composition of the three English terms energy, efficiency and impulse. The project will provide new impulses for energy efficiency.

enercyImpulse is a sub-project of the European INTERREG IIIC project enercy'regio and was selected in an open tender. The overall aim of the project is to increase energy efficiency and to save natural resources fostering a sustainable development of municipalities in European regions.
